Probably J.Biebs lol, or at least boy of the year. and really, can anyone honestly argue against it? This kid has taken over in the past year, everywhere you look it's Bieber fever, and if you say you never caught it, that also makes you a liar. Anyways he had a concert here a month ago, and guess who had front row seats? lol yup! kanJayChedda! don't hate on me...it was a good show. Although as i walked passed all the rows of screaming fans i couldn't help but feel a little bad for having better seats then all the screaming little girls, but if their parents REALLY loved them, then i don't see why they wouldn't have been able to get the seats i did, meh. *kanye shurg* lol anyways here's some pics.

Hey young world...We've got a lot of catching up to do don't we? well I've been all over the place really, and i've been doing a little too much drinking to be honest. But since we've got so much catching up I'll get straight to it. I'm gonna take you back to about a month ago to this little adventure I had. For those who know me, you know that I'm definitely not the outdoorsman, I don't bask in the sunlight, i don't frolic through the meadows, I don't do outdoors stuff. Never have i been camping, haven't gone fishing since i was five, yadda yadda yadda. BUT i'm a very open minded guy and am always willing to give anything a whirl, so when i was asked to go for a hike i thought, sure why not? and that's how my journey began....

(So the day started off great! scenery was beautiful and there were deers just walkin around like it ain't no thang)

(then this happened!)

(we went off path...)

(and all we could see around us was TREES!!!!)

(We had to call 911 and these dudes went up and down the lake blowin their horn till they got closer and we had to alert them lol)

(yup we got rescued by boat! wtf?)

(so what started out as a hike turned out as a boat ride on the lake)

(and landed me in the back of a rcmp squadron)

(but it all worked out beautifully in the end. thx babe!)

So the ex was in town a couple weeks ago, I personally have never missed the ex my entire life. I've grown out of it, but I do remember the feeling i used to get every year around this time when i knew it was time to eat greasy foods, have carnies yell at me, and ride on dirty rides. With elements like that how could you not have a good time? haha no but I'd always go with my family and it was always quality family time together, my parents don't go anymore and my sisters have all moved away so we don't have family time like that anymore but i consider this kid right here below in the iron man mask my extended family. I've known him his entire life and i see the joy in him that i once had the first time i brought him to the ex. although i'm not that tight with him anymore and don't see him on a regular basis he can always count on me to bring him to the ex and spoil the shit out of him. so here's an image dump of him at the ex.

Me, started off with some dim sum, then went to the casino *black jack ftw baby* easiest money i've made all week, and trust me i make easy money all week haha. then i headed down to the osborne street festival and hit up the boutique. Took my winnings from the casino and spent it on some gear *shouts out to Kev* thanks for the deals! yeah i grinded him out for some extra deals, no sexual favors needed. little did he know i would have paid just the regular sale prices because i was up! haha alright, time to go eat some more and enjoy the rest of the days festivities. peace!! haven't done a pick up post in awhile, so here's a couple of thing's i've picked up recently...

(Louis Vuitton Initiales Damier Belt. I think I set a monster off inside of me with this purchase, ever since i got it i've just been feening to go back into a LV store to buy more! the wallet's next but fuck i gotta get to a city that sells LV. seriously though, i thought the packaging and stuff was nice on some jordan packs. The service, details and everything that goes into the LV stuff is crazy!)

(ok, so this is the shoe that started off my obsession with kicks so when the pack came out no matter how bunk the suede is, or how bunk that a jumpman is on the back, or even more bunk that they released the varsity reds in the same year (which i also already copped) i still had to crap the pack. Shoe obsession FTL)

(I do love that old Jordan logo though, this is and always will be my favourite Air Jordan logo of all time)

OH!!!

So there's no music for this entry cuz i got a couple of videos down there, you're gonna have to click on the actual link for the entry to stop the music from the last entry though...

This is a picture i took that made me think about where i am in my life right now, I'm aiming for the stars, so if i fall I land on a cloud...There's so much potential for the things i'm doing to to grow and be so successful yet if i fail, i'm always gonna be ok and have something safe to fall back on. It's good and bad, like it's cool that i have something to fall back on, but do i really want it there? In the back of my head i'll always know that i'm gonna be alright but if i didn't have the safety net I'd be forced and have to work harder to reach my goals because failure wouldn't be an option. I guess right now you can say i'd rather be the trapeze artist without a safety net than this one, so if i do fall i'll learn my lesson.

Anyways Toronto was dope, I didn't get to play the way i wanted to because I was still pretty sick but it was an awesome experience for our team, we all gambled, partied, "danced", and just bonded really well. The whole trip brought us a lot closer together, I didn't take much pics but here's a couple of videos that were made for the tournament. The first one was done by our very own Eric Sung, more of winnipeg's perspective of the tournament, the 2nd one was done as an overall perspective, but we got no love in that video. Both are well done though so enjoy.

What up? Look I got no time to blog anymore alright? Summer's coming though and i got some big things planned and I will definitely be updating a lot more often. Till that time comes though just bare with me and keep checking up on the blog as I update randomly throughout my days.

So the passed week, my partner and I decided to treat our staff to a surprise dinner/meeting for all the hard work they've put in with our latest line. These guys actually came to our "meeting" with pens and pads in hands ready to jot down ideas for next release, that's what i like to see boys but no meeting this time just some steak dinners for everyone! haha shout outs to my patna jesse, and our crew of designers Oli, Wins, and Santa. Hope you enjoyed the meal boys, things will start to get even better in this new year. To Infinity and Beyond!

So...what can i say I was eating well last week, my buddy's lil bro Eye was back in town from Culinary school and he decided to whip us up a little something to eat. and it was fucken delicious.

On to Saturday, which will help explain the track playing on the blog at the moment. The PSBL, newest filipino league in the city had it's finals and who won the damn thing? Fly Rice BABY! I know what you're saying "what the fuck? you ain't filipino!" I know I know, but my homie's dad was runnin it and let me and my homie thu in as non imports. The league was fun, had some good times with the boys, the competition wasn't the best at times but it gave us time to fuck around on the court and try and 1 shit haha The finals however was a different story, it was a evenly balanced game with many lead changes. we ended up winnin by 5. hence letting me finally play this Buju Banton song play that i've had on deck since i was a kid whenever i'd win a championship. Theres a couple more tracks i got lined up for some championship posts but i don't want to get ahead of myself because we still got a long road ahead of us for those. That being said, 1 championship down 3 more to go for the year.

Every Tuesday the best ball in the city goes down at the Dalhousie church, and no you are not invited to come play. There are two teams that play there, it just so happens that they are both in the same division in the same mens league. Over the years we've developed a bond and made each other better basketball players. Mobb has gone from one of the teams in the middle of the pack straight to the top, while the K-9s have lingered at the top every year and having won the championship once. This year however Mobb has been tearing through the league winning every game by an average of 20+ points and having an undefeated record. K-9's, we're just doin our thing lingering at the top as usual with 2 losses and 10 wins. The epic battles on tuesdays is what lets us tear it up in the league on a regular basis. If you follow me on my blog you kind of get an idea of how successful the k-9s are, to see how successful mobb is in great detail you can follow them through my boy Saint's blog here. February 17th was the date set for these two teams to meet for their regular season game. Although it did not feel like any regular season game. The atmosphere to start was pretty electric, all the people that have anything to do with church ball on tuesdays were out to watch. The past 3 years all the games have been decided by less that 5 points one of them being sent into overtime. This game would be no different although it certainly did not start out that way. Mobb took off with their run and gun offence and took a 22 point lead into the 4th quarter. But this is church ball, and the one thing i've learned from going to the church is you gotta keep the faith! I'll let the newspaper article, scoresheet, and who's possession the Dalhousie Cup is in tell the rest of the story.

Well I'll tell you why I'm here, I'm here because I am entertained, I actually keep myself entertained 24/7. I was having a convo with a friend the other day and I told them that I live my life as if I were on a show and had an audience constantly watching. I put myself in certain predicaments just to see how things will pan out, and I'll make comments just to get a rouse out of people. Whether I succeed or fail in this thing called life, I'll know I had a good time doing it. And though not all of you find inspiration from this blog, I know for a fact that I do inspire some people and influence the way some think. It's a gift to have a voice, and to know that your voice is heard is inspiring in itself. Happy New Year! 2010 is here, it's the start of a new year, no no fuck that. It's the start of a new decade son! We gonna do big things this year, because as of January 1st all plans are in motion for the takeover. I got goals to acheive and expectations to meet, the plans are all drawn out and I'm more motivated now than ever. Physically, emotionally, spiritually it's all coming together, I'm feeling good. I'm surrounding myself with a solid crew that I know will stay positive, and have my back through anything. So if I feel you bring negative energy into my life, I'm sorry but I will be cutting all ties with you. Don't take it personal, but sometimes you just have to outgrow some of the people around you, especially if they don't put forth the same effort, respect, and commitments you put in on your end in any type of relationship. It's not always easy, but if you feel that you're the best, then it only makes sense to surround yourself with the best...

K well the commerce christmas social was like a week ago now and i know some of you have been waiting for the blog entry to accompany it well, it's not ready yet so...j/k here it is! To be honest I really wasn't planning on going this year, but my friend Allen is in from out of town, and he wanted to party. I don't know if you guys know but the social usually sells out and it gets pretty tough to find a ticket the closer it gets to the actual day. Well try getting two tickets 4 hours before it starts, cuz not only did I not have a ticket, but i had to get one for my old cock block of a friend allen too. long story short, i found 2 tickets pretty easily and we were set to party! First things first though, whenever I know I'm gonna drink a lot I have to have a 10 pc nugget meal from mcdonalds, I don't know what it is but after that meal i can drink like a fish and not feel as drunk...well i think i'm rambling right now so i'll just get on to the pics, cuz let's be real i know that's all you fuckers come here for anyways, i don't even know why i write these blurbs sometimes. What up!?!? well it's time to spread that holiday cheer, christmas is only 4 days away and my christmas shopping is far from being done, totally fucked haha. Regardless this is probably my favorite time of the year, the christmas cheer is contagious, it's like I'm always in a good mood, only shitty thing is I gotta work like almost everyday instead of just the weekends haha. Christmas time calls for christmas parties and some friends of mine got together on the weekend for some dinner and a gift exchange. My good friend Allen was back in town from B.C. as well, so it was nice seeing him again (his mom too haha j/k Al!). Dinner was delicious thanks to all the cooks, ruth, nery, janice, and i think some of the guys made some stuff i dunno, whatever. Gift exchange was lolz, it was grinch style so we got to steal gifts if you wanted, my name got drawn last so i had the pick of the litter, my gift was dope and all but i missed out on the fucken snuggie! well here's some pics.

Then it started to snow like crazy, and if any of you drive a rear wheel car it's not the best thing to do when it's snowing, especially if your tires are bald haha. So after the party i was gonna head to Bar I for my homie Jeremy's birthday. But my car was sliding everywhere, pulled a u-turn headed home and waited for Gady to pick me up (thanks homie). We got there eventually and to my surprise he wasn't passed out yet, he was actually still standing and walkin around, until I got him a shot haha here's some pics!

And earlier in the week I watched the midnight premiere of Avatar. I didn't even know it was in 3D, and I had never watched a 3D movie in the theatres before so i was pretty pumped to see it. and it did not disappoint! that shit was eyegasmic, the plot was well written, one of the best movies i've seen all year. it was definitely worth the wait on james cameron on this one, good job sir, I applaud you.

Also earlier this week I got myself an early christmas gift...

I got nothing to blog about, sure lots of random things happened over the weekend but nothing spectacular. I'm only writing this entry because i feel bad for the people who hit up the blog and see the same old thing everyday...sorry guys! haha

ooh wait! i do have one random story. So I was at the gas station waiting to put some air in my tires and some bitch cut in front of me. I was waiting for like a good 10 minutes too, and then this random bitch just cuts me off and goes to inflate her tires, i was like "wtf?" anyways the air hose wasn't working i guess, cuz after she was tryin to inflate her tires for 10 mins she stands up looks at me and says "it's not working" to which i replied, "it's cuz you're fat bitch" but I was in my car and said it with a smile on my face so i don't think she had any idea what i had said. =D

The first time that saying was told to me it was from my varsity basketball coach, at the time it was said in context with not being fooled by the same offensive sets from a certain team. But that saying has always stuck with me to this very day, and I use it in everyday life...

Alright so I'll be the first to admit I talk a lot of shit sometimes, but hey who doesn't? What's the difference between me and others? I back my shit up. I told y'all i was workin out and getting in shape, I told y'all i was gonna drop 30 points. I'm a man of my word folks and I love to put on a show. I don't know if you all know or not but i have somewhat of a theatre background, naw i was never in drama in highschool or anything which is weird, but i always loved performing in front of a crowd when i played ball, when ball was done i had to look for something that could fill the void. next best thing, performing live in front of an audience, same rush, same amount of pressure. anyways if you ever come out to watch me play or perform and i know you're there i'll try to put on a show for ya, that's just how i am, and today i had a spectator for a lil bit.

(She showed up in the 2nd quarter though which is the reason why i all of a sudden started droppin 3s, those were all consecutive by the way haha)

Here's another person that was watchin the game which was pretty dope, my old coach Mr. Martin. It was pretty cool that he was there because he got to see me and tyler go at it again, he didn't come specifically for us he had his own game afterwards so I had to stay myself and watch the master go to work. This man I owe at least 80 percent of my basketball I.Q. to, he's a genius on the court, if I were Luc Skywalker he would be my Yoda.

yeah imeem's been taken over right now so there's no music on my page right now cuz i dont' feel like for signing up for myspacemusic or whatever has taken them over. but that title is from that Jay Sean track "War" it's slow but it's good. so if you want to listen to a track while you read this that's what i'm listening to...well that and Counseling by the Clipse. K well as you all may know and as i've written in previous blog entries I have been workin on my fitness. I haven't really been 100 percent when it comes to ball as of late, either I've been too sore from workin out, or i had rolled my ankles. But tonight will be my first real test, I'm feeling good, I'm pretty healthy except for this cold that i've caught but I dont' really see that being a problem. So my shot's feeling good, haven't really tested it yet either though we'll see what happens tonight. I'm thinking I'm dropping 30 plus but we'll see. If you want to be a witness to the return of the "Mandarin Assassin" (thank larry and jerry for that nick haha) the performance starts at 8:30 pm, center court at the duckworth center tonight.

I am on Team Pacquiao

Inspiration, I am often inspired by so many things, I can find it in almost everything around me. Lately I've started trying to get into shape, and I've been finding my inspiration from my lack of ability to dominate in my favorite sport, I've been finding inspiration from all my friends around me who have been on their own mission to get fit, I'm inspired to want to try to dominate in some upcoming tournaments, but I've found the most inspiration in watching 24/7 with Manny Pacquiao. This dude goes hard, I admit I was somewhat of a hater to begin with some years ago when he stepped on the scene but he's won me over. You can see the hard work that he puts into his sport and it pays off. It just makes you want to work hard in no matter what you're trying to accomplish whether it be school, athletics, or finishing an art project. With that being said, DO WORK!

This week's got three things I'm anticipating. #1. Less than 24 hrs from now Cally of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is released! I will be ghost all week, you'll only find me at the gym for maybe 3 hrs a day, besides that I'll be at home play in on live. #2 Wednesday night, my Chinese basketball team will be having a exhibition game against Providence College. This will be by far our biggest challenge yet, and as we work our way to the national tournament in may, we are only getting closer and gelling more and more as a team. The confidence is starting to grow in all the young guys, and the trust is instilled in them because I know that they are all as dedicated as I am. #3. The Pacquiao Cotto fight on Saturday, I will be wearing my team Pacquiao tee that day. Cotto does look like a fierce opponent but the thing with Pacquiao is that he has continued to not only live up to his hype, but he has continuously surpassed it. The last athlete I can remember to do so was Michael Jordan and he's got the utmost respect from me as an athlete. Saturday night WILL be a day of lolz, eats, and drinks at the Santos residence. Work Will be done, and I will be on Team Pacquiao.

Were you all expecting a big Halloween post?! Well, several things stopped that from happening, a) like I'd have my camera out all night takin pics, b) some friends of mine got too drunk too fast and i didn't make it to the clubs.

So...unfortunately I missed out on the slutfest which is also known as Halloween once again this year. Don't get me wrong, I actually celebrated halloween at several house parties with the homies, but i missed out on the slutfest at the bars. But seriously why do girls use halloween as an excuse to dress provacative? By all means ladies, feel free to do so any day of the year, you have the approval of KanjayChedda himself.

On another note, I'm going all in on this getting in shape thing. Unfortunately for you, my good friends who see me on the court I'll be playing possum for a good while. But when game time comes, yes a real game, y'all better watch yourselves! (I'm talkin to you MOBB! haha) but anyways eating healthy sucks, this diet part of getting in shape is gonna kill me! I just wanna eat steaks, chocolate, and bacon all day!

Hypefeast! Yeah that's right, when you bring together a lot of food, and some hypebeasts together that's what you get, a Hypefeast. Now I dont' claim to be a hypebeast, and the company that i keep doesn't either but who are we fooling here. I'll let the evidence speak for itself later. Anyways it was Saturday night, UFC 104 was on, and we were all gathering at Jesse's. I supplied the pizza, V supplied the Chicken and chicken skins, the Nguyens supplied the alcohol, K-drizzy supplied the blueberry pies, santa supplied the fries, gady supplied the sigsig? and everyone supplied the lolz!

The actual event itself was kind of a dissapointment, although i was happy with the result because i was rooting for Machida, I definitely think there should be a rematch. The food was extremely fattening, the company was like a Union, because we all do Work son! Many lolz were had, from T-pan actually bringing pies, nguyens giving knee kicks and learning how to reverse it, to someone whippin out the 80's bush again like it was in fashion haha.

Twas a good night, until we decided to hit up Alive, like seriously i enjoy the club but that owners a douche, that's all i gotta say. Racial profiling my ass you fucken bitch.

REGINA!!! I know, I know Regina's not the most entertaining city in the world but the people are cool and I always get love from the basketball community there.

I was there for the S.A.B.I.T. with my chinese team, we were there to get some games in and try to gel together in preparation for the north american chinese tournament. The tournament was well run, the competition was pretty friendly, and although it wasn't the toughest competition. We ourselves weren't the team that we're aiming to be yet either, so it was a good tournament for us to start off as together as a team. I got to know some of the guys better, and learned to trust them a little more on the court.

Well tournament wise we did alright, I think we should have won the whole thing, but we got kinda screwed in the semi final game. I admit it was still my fault, i guess i shouldn't have hand checked even though they weren't calling it all weekend. but really, who calls a hand check foul in overtime with the game tied and 1.5 seconds left in the semi final game? and then don't call a foul when the other team trips you at half court? ridiculous! haha we were winning pretty easily until that point too. so we ended up placing 3rd in the tournament but I'm pretty sure all the fans loved us the most.

All in all the weekend was dope, filled with good times. The condo we stayed at was pimp! (I'll post video of it later) didn't get to do much shopping, but to be honest i doubt i would have bought anything anyway. We went to the club on saturday night, I'm assuming we were at the wrong club but fuck were the people there dressed terribly. Like seriously Worst Dressed People EVER! haha but seriously good times were had, little Leonard catchin some herpes (j/k but seriously), us jumpin in another van exactly like our which was also from manitoba, me cramping up during the 3pt competition. it was just a dope weekend, goes to show that it's not the place that makes the experience, it's the company you keep. Thanks again to the peeps at the tourney for being such great hosts and making some chinese guys from winnipeg feel welcomed. well here's some pics, i didn't get any from the tournament, when it's game time i don't think of takin pics sorry guys! haha

"You need to update your blog more Jay." Yeah...thanks for the tip guys, but seriously like I don't know that I've been slacking? Have you ever been stuck in a rut? Just felt like your life is going nowhere? Well that's where I'm at right now, I've just been coasting through life lately not getting anything done, procrastinating like none other. I know my banner has a picture of a guy holding a sign that says "Everyday I'm Hustling" but I haven't been folks, and it's time for me to start. There was a time when I was in the same situation before until I set goals for myself and started a new chapter to my life. That's what's up with me right now folks, I am once again on the verge of accomplishing several things that people are supposed to do in life. I just need to give myself that little push to get over the edge, so I'm gonna set the goals right here and now and if I don't start workin towards them you can all call me out on that, not dumb shit like updating my blog haha. K well let's kick off some of these goals...

1. Graduate (I think I've already got enough credits for a general degree in arts so that may already be done)

2. Set a launch date for the new lineup from The Masses. (Jess, Oli, Wins, and Santa we need to have a "rally J" asap)

3. Learn to photoshop.

4. I have to drop to a weight of 158 by the end of this year.

5. Help lead my Sr. Mens basketball team back to the championship. (and average 20 a game while doing it)

6. Help lead the Winnipeg Chinese Mens basketball team to a respectable finish at the 2010 NACBAIT tournament.

I should probably have getting a real job up there on the list too, but I'm not one to let money rule my life. Money's all irrelevant, it comes and goes. The more money you make, it's just the more money you spend. Now I'm just starting to rant so this entry will come to an end. And although I'm feeling nowhere right now I'm not worried, and you all shouldn't worry for me. I know i'll be alright and that's why I'm nowhere near a worry. Peace!

You know what I do when life gives me lemons?

I say Fuck the Lemons! I've been feeling off since monday night, remember when I was supposed to drop 30 pts and my team was supposed to kick off our way to an undefeated season? well that didn't happen, we should have won our game, I shot terribly, i was 5 for 15 or something shitty like that. It was pretty bad, well the following day it just got even worse. I went to Bridges for what I thought would probably be the last round of golf of the year. Well needless to say, I shot the worst round I've shot all year. I lost to my man Vu, which I told him he'd probably be me two times in our lifetimes...well Vu there's 1 of the 2 haha. I know you're really gonna actually laminate that scorecard too haha. My streak of whack athletic prowellness doesn't end there though. It was Tuesday, so off to the church it was for me for some ball, shot pretty bad and turned the ball over way too many times for my liking.

Fast forward to wednesday and I had to get my swag back. You best believe that right after i shot that terrible round of golf I went straight into the clubhouse to make a tee time for the following day. So Bridges it was again! Now don't get me wrong, it's not like the course is an easy one, it's pretty challenging with lots of dog legs but there's still no reason i should have shot as poorly as I did. So long story short, I beat Vu by 7 strokes, and the world was getting back to normal. Now all I had to do was get my damn jumpshot back...and off to Brodie center it was! One hour and 100 jumpshots later, I was feeling good again. So today I put the theory to the test, played one on one with young money and yeah I won every game. If you didn't know Young Money probably is one of the best defenders in the province, so when I can score on him at will, yeah i said it homie AT WILL! I'm pretty sure I got my game back. and with that being said fuck those lemons! If you're given lemons, do something about it! Don't just sit there and accept it aaaand it's as simple as that!

This is me documentin life, lookin back learning from mistakes, keeping memories sharing it with you. Of course you only see what I want you to see but I don't hide much. Sometimes you may not agree or like what I do or say but I'll keep you coming back because you're curious. I've got some of you hooked and I haven't even made any moves yet. Stay tuned kids. There is no fascade here, I'm only keeping it real.

It gets tough trying to update this thing everyday, to be honest I'll probably only be able to keep this updated two or three times a week, maybe more. You'll just have to hit it up everyday to find out i guess =D. So Lupe was in town Friday night and let me let you know how it went down from my perspective. I was late, but I heard there was a ginormous line that took forever to let people in. when i got there the line was gone, but inside it was hot as hell, the line for the beer garden was obsurd, the d.j. was pretty bad, and the wait for Lupe took forever. The only positive thing was the fucken smokie I ate there. Grand Analog did their thing too, I can't really hate on them, Garfield has been on his grind since I can remember. But the show was supposed to start at 8? now I know show's never start on time and the artist is always an hour or two late, but the heat, and lack of drinks was just making it worse. When Lupe finally came on it was about 11:30 I was cashed, the line for the beer garden was gone, so i just drank at the back the entire time he was on stage. I kind of regret not taking in the performance, but that crowd was hot, and motherfuckers stank!

I'm just chillin at home getting ready to hit up the golf course when Shakira's video "she wolf" came on. Have i ever mentioned i find columbian women sexy as fuck? haha anyways, shakira's so friggin hot, you don't even notice her elaine bennice dancing. like seriously her dancing is like so awkward except for when she's belly dancing, ok well that's all for now, i'll leave you guys with some writing you can read, and a video from my varsity yr of ball made by the basketball guru, Mr. Martin.

This is an assignment i had to do for my acting for the camera class, we had to observe several people and do a write up on them. so here it is:

"I thought I’d do my first observation on someone where I spend most of my leisure time, on the basketball court. I’m playing basketball at a church near the university where there is a basketball court inside. The person that I’ve chose to observe is my friend who is guarding me. He is wearing a pair of black and yellow shoes, they are the Zoom Kobe II’s to be exact (shoes are usually the first thing I’ll notice on a person, I kind of have a shoe fetish), I’m assuming he’s wearing no show socks, since there are none to be seen, his shorts are black with a white ‘air jordan’ logo on the lower right leg, he is wearing an older grey with no logos but the sleeves have been cut off. He’s about 5’5 165 lbs, he’s got very short hair, not quite bald but just a little bit of hair on the top, he’s got dark facial hair and he’s got piercing’s in both of his ears, not the normal piercings though, they are the kind where they widen a hole in your ear, and you replace them when you want to stretch the hole even more.
We play 5 on 5 full court, the first possession my team is on offence so he is defending me. While I move without the ball his focus is not so much on me but on where the ball is. As I cut to the top of the key he is still paying attention to the man with the ball so I get a little edge on him, just as soon as I get a step on him I feel him grab at my shirt so I don’t get too far away. As I catch the ball at the top of the key he is now directly focused on me. His eyes do a quick look from left to right trying to see if there any players around who are about to set a pick on him. His right foot is positioned outside of my left foot, forcing me to dribble to my right. His right hand is raised to defend my shot, while his left hand is down to defend a crossover. I throw a jab step at him with my right foot, he bites on it and takes a huge step to his left. I pump fake a jumpshot and he trying to recover and defend the shot at the same time jumps back at me with his right hand leading in the air. There is a slight grimace on his face as he is in the air. I now take a step to the right, and shoot a jump shot. This whole sequence of me obtaining the ball to taking the jump shot all happens within a span of 4 seconds. The shot goes in, we run back down the other way of the court with smiles on both of our faces, no words are exchanged we just both knowing that I got him on that last possession.
He is now on offence and I am the defender, he moves without the ball and tries to cut to the basket, I cut his path off and give him a bump. The impact makes him grimace, he absorbs the impact and pushes off to the top of the key, where he catches the ball and squares up. He has the ball on the left side of his body by his torso, and is using his left foot as his pivot foot. He jabs to his right, with his right foot, but the ball remains on the left side of his body, I don’t go for the fake knowing that he will not go right, if the ball stays on his left side. He stands up back up straight, and again jabs to the right but this time brings the ball across his body. He dribbles to the right I shuffle with him, he dribbles hard one more time to the right. I beat him to the spot, and bump him off, but he smartens up, absorbs the impact and spins the other way as I am still slightly off balance from the collision, he takes his fadeaway jumpshot and hits it. An instant smile comes to both of our faces knowing that he just got me back, there are still no words exchanged, except this time he gives out a little laugh “haha”."

Time to get the blog up to date with what's actually goin on I suppose. It was a pretty tame weekend for me. Friday night I took off early from work and met some boys from xbox i play call of duty with on the reg. It was one of their birthdays so he had this thing at Xtreme Tactics, it's an airsoft gun place. It was pretty dope, got to put some faces to the names behind the screens, and see what kind of scumbags they were in real life haha j/k boys! after the game though i was hella cashed, and went to bed at 1am which is super early for me, i've been going to bed at around 4 or 5 am for the past few years. Well i didn't get any pics of the boys (i left my phone in my ride) you can catch us playin hardcore team deathmatch everynight around 12 a.m. The clan tags is 'CK' tell all your friends as Gab likes to say haha.

so rewind friday night to friday during the day, got a chance to finally hit up TUB and do some shoppin, grabbed a couple tees, thanks to everyone at TUB as always for the hookup. So while i was chillin there the boys there decided to smash some monitors...and i got the vids!

They actually had a sledgehammer on hand, and not just any sledgehammer, but a sledgehammer with an anti shock handle to prevent the feel of vibrations when you smash shit. haha

There was a time way back when all my buddies would be at my boy Peralta's crib, that was the chill spot, if you're anywhere between the ages of 26 - 34ish? and you're from the north end you know the peraltas. Anyways whenever i knew people would be there I'd call them up and ask, "Yo, who's all there?" to which I'd always receive the answer, "Everyone." That would always piss me off too because i just wanted to know who was all there so I could roll with someone there and it's not like it's hard to name a few names of people there. Well that was years ago, my boy's moved away and is doin big things in T.dot now. My friends from back then have saddenly slowly and slightly drifted away, we all keep in touch and have drinks two or three times a month, but it's just not the same anymore. Well Phil was back in town on the weekend, and i knew people were at his crib. I call up one of my homies and asked, "Yo, who's all there?" to which I once again recieved the answer, "Everyone." made my heart melt, all the boys were chillin again, except for you Allen, you're not one of the boys hahaha j/k homie! But it's crazy how little things like that can just bring back all the memories and the things you once hated are now the things you still wish you had...

Today was a good day, and if you had to ask me do i really wanna live forever, I'd have to answer with a No, but do i want to stay forever young? Hellz fucken yeah. "Live fast, die young. Leave a good looking corpse." - James Dean

Well if summer is coming to an end, it sure is going out with a bang. It was pretty gorgeous out today, so I made the most of it and tried to live the day to the fullest. I got off to a late start though haha, started off with a nice dim sum lunch at this place i was just introduced to today. Not sure the name of the restaurant but it's directly across from Dim Sum Garden. The dishes were probably better than those at Dim Sum Garden because they were fresh, big factor when it comes to dim sum for me, not only that though, shit was cheap! from there had to grab some dog shampoo for my baby, Miso Hongie so took a trip to Walmart where I snapped a candid pic of this...

that right there is one of the reasons why i love going to walmart, you just never know what the fuck you'll run into there.

After Walmart i just had to hit up a patio, it was too nice out to not appreciate it. So...Saffrons it was! i got my regular caesers and linguine carbonara. had a few laughs with the homies, heard a few stories that happened over the weekend and was also shown some battle scars as well...

(That's what happens when two people throw a headbutt at the sametime, unfortunately my homie here lost the headbutt haha it's ok man, you still won)

after saffrons we all checked out GreenApple skate shop, it was pretty small, but i can appreciate what they're trying to do. so if you need some SB's hit em up on corydon. Support your local business' people, i can't stress that enough.

From there I had promised my boy Santa i'd play ball, so i rushed over to brodie center when i played some drunken Basketball. How'd it go? well what do you think? i was drunk and playing basketball obviously not well. haha well got outta the gym at like 10:10 and rushed it over to catch Inglorious Basterds. Yeah, no shower, i stunk it up sorry if you were in the theatre with me haha. Movie was dope, classic Tarantino, y'all need to watch it. if you liked pulp fiction you'll like this one. and that was a wrap for me.

the week was filled with ups and downs, but one things' for sure haters never get me down. You can do what you want, egg my car, but just remember I'm still me, you're still you. What's up?! So I went digging through a bunch of old vhs tapes, found a lot, i mean A LOT of old jordan games from 95-98 and man was he ever dope, BUT i also found some tapes of me, and man WAS I DOPE! hahaha check check check it out!

what's up?! i've been too lazy to blog lately sorry folks. That and the fact that i've just been out doin shit, tryin to stay active, playin sports or doing anything competitive. A lot of you guys don't know this, even my closest friends probably don't realize but i usually play a lot of ball or some sort of activity when there's shit going on in my life, and shit's been goin on. I usually hide it pretty well though, so the only way you can sort of tell i'm going through some stuff is how active i am on the court. It's just how i cope, some of you i'm sure can understand how it is. When you're on the court, and you're better than most you just feel like you're in control the whole time. and sometimes i just need to get control back in my life, playin ball is like my psychiatrist or whatever. every now and then though feelings get the best of me and i act like a dick, so if i've mistreated you sometime in the past few months...SORRY! haha

well anyways enough with that rant, how have i been? just been playin tennis and ownin up my buddies. Played ball last night and today for like 4 hours, tryin to get this jumpshot back, and man up as the self proclaimed best basketball player in the province...sorry thu i'm takin back my throne this year haha.

Weekend was all good, remembered last minute about my boy Gady's girl, Elle's bday. it was filled with korean barbeque, vodka marinated fruit in the punch, bonfires, and homies. what else could you ask for? speaking of bonfires, we were in st.boniface (the french area) so does that mean in that part of the city "bonfire" is translated to "good fire"? haha it was a joke relax, i'm not really serious about that question.

On another note i decided to try some body wash instead of soap...and man body wash is WAY BETTER, all you guys who still use soap, STEP YOUR GAME UP SON! haha

I've been playing a lot of different sports lately, and some of you may not know this yet but...I'm good at everything! haha Monday played a round of golf, beat my friends by 15, and 25 strokes respectively, after that they wanted to compete some more so we grabbed some tennis racquet's and i whipped them at tennis. tuesday played some more tennis and whipped my buddy, then went to play some softball and did my thing, made some defensive plays at shortstop, hit a couple homeruns...ya know? the usual, oh you didn't know kanJay played baseball? yeah i did, the year jordan retired and went to play baseball, i took that summer off of basketball and played little league fastball...and yeah, i was MVP (i also wore number 45). but anyways the point of this post was just to say that whenever i think i'm getting back into somewhat of shape again, I have a day off and head over to saffrons, have some drinks, linguine carbonara, come home play some call of duty modern warfare and eat a pack of bacon and scrambled eggs at 2 am. Fuck, i'm gonna have a heart attack one of these days. oh well, you gotta enjoy life right? haha

well...i was bored and hungry this afternoon, i felt like something sweet but was too lazy to leave the house. So what did i do? Improvised! found some chocolate, peanutbutter, toblerone, and ice cream in the house and mashed it all up.

I have been drinking far too much this summer, shit's gotta stop! i'm going cold turkey on the alcohol until at least the middle of august.
